International Student Scholarships at York University Glendon Campus offer a range of scholarships for international students to choose from, including:
- York Immigration Scholarships and Awards: This scholarship is for international students who are new to the university and do not need to apply. This means that students will automatically be considered for the award.
- President’s International Excellence Scholarship: Twenty (20) scholarships are awarded annually and are valued at $45,000 per year, renewable for an additional three years of full-time undergraduate study. with students maintaining good academic standing each year It will total $180,000 over four years.
- Outstanding International Entrance Scholarships: Three scholarships worth $35,000 are awarded each year, renewable for an additional three years of full-time study, as long as the student maintains good academic performance each year.
- Global Leader of Tomorrow Awards for International Students: These two scholarships are awarded each year for $20,000/year, renewable for an additional 3 years of additional full-time undergraduate study. If the student still has good academic results
- Tentanda Via Rewards: Awarded to fifteen students, this scholarship recognizes undergraduate students who have faced significant personal obstacles and overcome them to pursue a university education. It is valued at $30,000/year and is renewable for full-time undergraduate study. Another 3 years

- Annie Demirjian ’77 Scholarship: This is one of the Glendon Entrance Scholarships and Awards, valued between $5,000 – $10,000 per year, awarded to incoming international students admitted to Glendon with top academic performance. Eligibility Criteria for the York University International Student Scholarship
To be eligible for the York University International Student Scholarships and Awards, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- International students must have a study permit to study in Canada.
- Must be applying to an undergraduate course at York commencing in fall 2023.
- A 9-digit York reference number is required, which you will receive within 5 working days of applying to study at York.
- Must apply to York directly from high school no more than two years after graduation. and have no previous university or college education
- Must demonstrate leadership through community service or excellence in the arts, sports, or other areas of personal achievement.
- Must have excellent academic records with a minimum “A” average or equivalent.
