The Banting Postdoctoral Scholarship Program provides funding to the best postdoctoral candidates both domestically and internationally. This contributes to the economic, social and research development of the country.
The objectives of the Banting Postgraduate Scholarship Program are to:
- Attract and retain top postdoctoral talent both domestically and internationally.
- Develop their leadership potential
- Position them for success as future research leaders.

- be a permanent domestic applicant or foreign applicant
- Meet or satisfy all level requirements for the Ph.D. For the title of Doctor of Philosophical Sciences. or medical professions:
- Between 15 September 2021 and 30 September 2025 (inclusive) and
- Before starting to receive the reward
- Applicants who do not meet all requirements for their degree at the time of application must provide evidence by October 15, 2025.
