The Onsi Sawiris Scholarship Program 2024-2025 is a fully-funded undergraduate and graduate scholarship for international students. The scholarship covers full tuition, living expenses, travel and health insurance.

The Onsi Sawiris Scholarship Program is open to students from Egypt to pursue a bachelor’s or master’s degree at a top US university. These are bestowed on the basis of character and morality as described through academic intelligence. Eligibility Criteria for the Onsi Sawiris Scholarship Program

To be eligible for the Onsi Sawiris Scholarship, you must:

For undergraduate students:

  • He was an Egyptian who lived in Egypt. (Dual nationality applicants will not be given preferential treatment.)
  • Plan to begin studies in the USA in 2025.
  • Have a commitment to return to Egypt for two years directly after completing a bachelor’s degree.
  • Haven’t lived abroad for more than 3 years.
  • iBT TOEFL: 100 and up
  • GPA 3.5 / 90% in Thanaveya Amma Certificate (second year) or equivalent certificate
  • Minimum SAT Score I:
    • Old SAT (before May 2017): Overall: 2100 Reading: 700 Math: 700 Writing: 700
    • New SAT (after May 2017): Overall: 1450 Evidence-Based Reading and Writing: 730 Math: 730
  • or SAT II in 3 subjects: 600 or higher

For master’s degree:

  • MBA – GMAT: 650 or higher (taken within 5 years)
