About Tony Elumelu Foundation – Organization
Tip (Tony Elumelu Entrepreneurship Program) is the Tony Elumelu Foundation’s Across Africa Entrepreneurship Initiative, a multi-year training, grant and mentoring program. It is designed to empower the next generation of African entrepreneurs.
The TEEF project received a $100 million grant from the Elumelu family to empower 10,000 African entrepreneurs over 10 years. The goal is to create at least 1 million jobs and generate income for the economy. Africa over $10 billion The Foundation empowers African entrepreneurs and the entrepreneurial ecosystem in 54 African countries through its flagship Entrepreneurship Program. To date, the Foundation has empowered 7,531 entrepreneurs.
In 2018, the foundation last year launched TEF Connect, an African digital entrepreneurial hub. To connect the entrepreneurial ecosystem and facilitate business beyond physical boundaries. The platform currently has 800,000 users.
